I remember watching "Total Recall" as a child. I must have been 7 or 8 years old. It blew my mind. Kuato sure gave me some nightmares.

This is one of the most intense and visually groundbraking science fiction movies ever made.

I doubt that the remake will be nearly as good as the original, but I hope they will prove me wrong.
